I made an appointment a year ago to get my eye nerve pictured because last year I got diagnosed with glaucoma. I waited a whole year and an extra 6 hours on the day of my appointment. Not only after that long wait no one took the picture, but also the fact that I lost Vision since previous year went completely overlooked. Is the lack of care because I’m an immigrant from middle east? Don’t I deserve care for my condition because I can’t talk proper German?(I’m fluent in English)

I did my laser treatment in the summer 2017 to correct my eyesight and be able to see without glasses and contact lenses. I am very happy and satisfied with the results. Today it’s 2023 and I am still seeing perfectly without any problems. Thank you very much doctor.

Unprofessional and incompetent

I went with my daughter (10 months old) to an eye check-up.

Her sight was measured for hyperopia and Astigmatismus and the first result was that both values are absolutely normal for her age.
I asked the doctor if he was sure and he said yes.
Then I mentioned that we have actually been to other doctors that measured both abnormal astigmatism and hyperopia and that we even got glasses prescribed.

Here is where the lack of professionalism comes into play: I was really told off for not mentioning the first results in the first place and the doctor was very assertive and demanded to see the results. He said that they have to know before and that they would examine more carefully then (!!!???). I of course showed him the previous results afterwards.

And here to prove the incompetence: he measured her eyes again and he did find both Astigmatismus and hyperopia, kind of a mix of values from our previous measurements.

Very disappointing visit.

Ps: my daughter was not very cooperative, but that should not be an excuse. I would have preferred to hear that he couldn’t measure properly rather than false values.
