I am a dentist working in the field of aesthetics. In order to see all the small details at work, I use 5.5x loops, sometimes a microscope. For the last 5 years, a big problem has arisen, because when I take off the loops and want to change the dental burs, I can’t see them clearly. I also couldn’t write, read, or see the food on the plate clearly , etc. without glasses. It’s just that my near vision has gotten worse over the last five years and it worsened the quality of life.
About 2 weeks ago I had trifocal lens replacement surgery for both eyes. It didn’t hurt at all, I was able to go home with my sunglasses right away. I am very very satisfied so far.
Now I can see everything I need up close very well, I fill out patient histories on the PC without glasses, I read all the smallest notes on medicine packages. Color perception has not changed. The field of vision did not decrease at all.
A little blurry when looking at distance and there are halo effects when looking at strong light sources (car headlights, etc.), but I was ready for that. Neuroadaptation is taking place and the halo effects are decreasing.
I learned about trifocal lenses through a friend, and became interested. After the consultation at EuroEyes/Frankfurt I couldn’t believe that it could be so good, it was very important to me whether I would be able to see as clearly and sharply as before presbyopia, and whether the perception of colors would not change. I looked again about the same procedures in another European country, I consulted in my own country, where an ophthalmologist told me that I won’t see clearly, I won’t be able to insert the thread into the needle.
About a week after operation I did an experiment and threaded the needle with the smallest hole! Without glasses!

On a control check a month later I was told that I now have a 100% vision, all indicators are perfect! A year has passed, and I still enjoy the quality of vision. I’m very glad to share my own experience.
