EuroEyes München Stachus

Ich habe Anfang Februar meine Augen bei EuroEyes operieren lassen. Das Personal und die Ärzte haben sich wunderbar um mich und mein Wohlbefinden gekümmert.
Ich bin ohne Einschränkungen mit dem Ergebnis und der Versorgung zufrieden und kann die Klinik nur weiterempfehlen!

An dieser Stelle nochmals meinen herzlichen Dank an die professionelle und freundliche Behandlung von Dr. Markus Bauer & Team. Ich habe mir vor 15 Monaten beide Augen Lasern lassen und erfreue mich seither über bereits vergessene Lebensqualität ohne Kontaktlinsen oder Brille. Es erfordert sicherlich etwas Mut, aber es lohnt sich! Der gesamte Euroeyes Prozess ist professionell und man merkt, dass hier viele Patienten operiert werden. Dr. Bauer kommentierte entlang der Behandlung jeden Schritt und holt den Patienten ab, sehr einfühlsam und professionell – absolute Empfehlung!

I opted for Femto Lasik last year to correct -3.5 in both eyes and was operated on by Dr. Bauer. One year later it was undoubtedly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

For those thinking about doing it, some info that might help. I read a lot of meta-reviews comparing SMILE and Femto Lasik and could not find a significant difference in the long-term clinical outcomes (besides potentially slightly higher incidence of eye dryness in Femto, but generally in people who had issues with eye dryness beforehand). The “night time haloes” are also somewhat different in shape, but this is fairly minor.

After the operation, my vision was sharp after a few days, but I did see large halos around bright lights, and when I looked at a screen it was hard to focus. I never experienced any eye dryness.

It took about 4 months for these side-effects to subside, so don’t be discouraged if it takes some time. Now I can work in front of the computer for 8h/day without issue, and the haloes are only slightly there at night (and very minor, I’ve stopped even noticing them).

So overall I would say a perfect outcome. I still find myself appreciating it quite often when I am able to just wake up and see clearly without trying to find my glasses. Thanks guys!
