**racist experience**
I paid the 65 euros for a sight test and waited in the waiting room. And waited and waited, for hours. I eventually went to ask for my money back. I was informed that I had been called numerous times, but that probably it was incorrectly said. I’m used to this in Germany – McIntyre is an unusual name here. But the way the doctor said my name was not even anything similar to how it is said, so how could I have guessed she meant me. When this was brought to her attention, she just smiled and shrugged her shoulders. No apology or anything for wasting hours of my time. She smiled and quite clearly she could not care any less. I can understand people not getting my name right, but this was ridiculous. I’m still livid.

TWICE they canceled my appointment on the day it was supposed to take place (after having been scheduled for weeks). Very unprofessional behaviour.

A woman there told me that after 35 you should get checked for glaucoma, as you could go blind and offered a service that is not covered by my health insurance. I thought it was better to check than having problems. After I looked up online that screenings should start from 40-45, not 35. Honesty is the best currency if you’re not aware. I rate the overall check-up a 3 out of 5, with no desire to go back there. The doctor’s prescription is empty, I only noticed it at home.
