Really nice architecture and great atmosphere. I’ve visited the site at Christmas, and I will definitely recommend going to the absolutely gorgeous Christmas market if possible. This place is the liveliest of all Munich, with many things to see, a lot of shops to visit and many tourists to encounter. It’s a unique experience, it was to me anyway, and I think there is no way you can visit Munich without stopping by the Marienplatz.
